Pepperl Fuchs KFD2-SRA-EX4 channel isolated barrier (switch amplifier)

I bought the Pepperl+Fuchs NCN8-18GM40-N0-10M proximity sensor, part number 55289269. The 10-meter fixed cable is exactly what I needed. The sensor works reliably without false triggering on our production line. The build quality is solid, installation was quick. Will reorder again.

These NJ4-12GM-N-10M sensors with 10M fixed cable work flawlessly in our explosion-proof pump stations. Standard NAMUR output connects smoothly to intrinsic safety barriers, stable 4mm sensing without false signals.

We’ve installed the NBN3-F31K-Z8-K on our pneumatic actuator stations for over a year, and it’s been totally reliable. The 3 mm sensing range is spot-on for detecting small metal targets, with consistent accuracy and almost no hysteresis. Its IP67-rated PBT housing handles oil, dust and occasional water splashes without issues—ideal for our factory floor. The sensor’s compact block design mounts directly to standard actuators, saving time and brackets. Two yellow LEDs clearly show sensor and valve status, making troubleshooting a breeze. With 6–60 V DC wide voltage input, 500 Hz switching frequency, and -25°C to 70°C working range, it fits most industrial setups. Reverse polarity protection is a nice safety touch. A solid, well-built sensor worth the investment.
